Serbia across the river from Croatia at the city of Vukovar.
Vukovar is a city utterly destroyed in '91 by Serbia as the first act in the war for Croatian independence. After walking through the dead and bombed out streets, watching the sun set, I learned that the sun rises over Serbia every day, and sets over Croatia. Every day. |
